On Monday 16th March Perryfields Infant school participated in National Science Week!
We had a lot of fun experimenting and investigating all week.
On Thursday 19th we invited the parents and carers to come and join in with some of our super science!
This was a great success and the children really enjoyed showing the parents what they already know and finding out new things.
We also had a visit from some duck eggs! We were very excited to watch them in the incubator waiting for any cracks.
When they were a few days old we were able to let them have a little paddle in some water trays!
We were very lucky to have a parent visitor come in as well. Mr Jayanthi, who is a surgeon, came in to chat to all the children about germs, our bodies and the digestive system. It was all very interesting and the children thought of some great questions to ask him.
