We have really enjoyed acting out some traditional tales. 

Creative Day 2026

We really enjoyed our creative day in Emerald Class. We looked at the Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama who is known for using dots to create her artwork. We looked in depth at the ‘Butterfly’ painting and had a go recreating the piece using paint and cotton buds. We also had lots of fun in the hall with Mrs White using music and media to express our feelings. We listened to a range of different pieces of music and then creatively expressed our emotions using paint and crayons on large pieces of paper on the floor of the hall. 

Whole School Trip - Chatham Green

We all enjoyed a fantastic school trip to Chatham Green. It was great to be out in nature all day and we took part in lots of activities including den building, pond dipping, identifying plants and flowers and learning about bees. We were very lucky with the weather, it was a warm and dry day and we all particularly enjoyed our picnic lunch in the sunshine. All of Emerald Class behaved so well and made sure they listened to the leaders of each group and they asked and answers lots of questions really well.
