Volunteering in School

As a local community school, we always welcome the support from parents, carers, grandparents and students who wish to help in school.  There are a thousand and one different jobs to do within the classroom, so we are very grateful for any offer of help.

Some of the activities that volunteers can do in school are:

• Hear readers
• Adding work in topic books
• Support with art sessions (alongside the teacher)
• Support with ICT (alongside the teacher)
• Tidy the library
• Support on school trips and local walks

This list is not exhaustive.

All volunteers will have an enhanced DBS safeguarding check before being able to work alongside the children and be invited to a volunteer induction meeting.
