Christmas Play 2025 

The children were all amazing in our play this year! they all enjoyed learning the songs for 'Let's Find Santa' and those who had lines did a great job remembering all they had to say! We were very impressed with how well the children did with their dances and we hope you all enjoyed the show as much as we did. 

Thank you providing costumes and for coming to watch the performance. 

Children In Need 

Topaz class had a great time coming into school in their pyjamas and bringing in their Teddies. We talked about Children in Need and explained why we were rasing money. Thank you for all you generous donations. 

Autumn Activities 

This week the children went on an Autumn walk and collected Autumn objects. They then used these objects to make a picture. The children also celebrated bonfire night by making firework pictures. 

Topaz class enjoyed learning about Diwali. We learnt a Diwali dance with Mrs Shankar, made Diwali cards and created mendi patterns.

Dough Disco! 

To help develop their fine motor skills all the children take part in dough disco exercises every morning before they start writing in their phonics lessons. Using the play dough helps to warm up the muscles we use when holding our pencil and writing. 

Making Patterns 1st October 

For our maths topic this week the children have been making repeating patterns using a range of classroom resources. 

MacMillan Cake Morning 

Thank you to everyone who came to our cake morning. The children had a lovely time and we raised lots of money for a worthy cause. 

Starting School 

The children have all settled very quickly into school life. They have been spending time making new friends and exploring the resources in the classroom and outside areas.

The children enjoyed learning all about Lunar New Year this week. Each class went into the hall to make crafts to celebrate the festival.

Whole School Trip to Layer Marney Tower

We all had a great day out learning about Tudor times. We climbed to the top of the tower, tried maypole dancing, looked at armour and did archery!
