The Queen's 90th Birthday Celebrations

During the week 23rd May to 27th May, the children at Perryfields celebrated the Queen's 90th Birthday. They learned lots of facts about the Queen, designed and made crowns, iced party biscuits and decorated bunting. On Friday 27th, there was a whole school "street party" on the playground, with delicious buffet food which was served up by the the staff. Everyone wore the crowns they had made. Luckily the sun kept shining for us! Finally there was a sing song at the end of the day, including "Sing" and some of our other favourites, as well as the National Anthem.
